Brand new for the 2019 season are the Warrior Alpha DX Senior Hockey Gloves! Featuring Warrior Hockey’s newest features and technology, these gloves aim to be their most comfortable and protective glove to date.
For this iteration, Warrior has come up with the clever catchphrase known as Dynamic Strike. The thought process behind this was to give the Alpha DX gloves the perfect balance of old-school traditional looks but have a new-school anatomical fit and feel! This close-to-the-hand feel provides improved puck control thanks to better grip of the stick, as well as advanced hand protection!
This fit goes by the name of the Hybrid Taper Fit. Although this glove appears as a 4-Roll glove, this fit allows the glove to contour to the natural shape of your hand, maximizing mobility and improving protection! Paired with the Hybrid Taper Fit is Warrior’s Hybrid Flex Cuff. This cuff is non-restrictive and extends your range of motion, improving your puck handling while still providing elite-level protection!
The Warrior Alpha DX Gloves are packed with Warrior’s Impax+ Technology making these gloves their most protective to date! Impax+ is a combination of high-end VN and HD IXPE foams that help keep your hands protected against all different types of in-game impacts! Additionally, this material is very lightweight.
Not only do the Warrior Alpha DX Gloves feature pro-level protection, they are also extremely comfortable! This is thanks to what Warrior calls their “Buttersoft feel”. The Warrior Alpha DX Gloves feature responsive mesh gussets, an AXI-FLEX thumb, and an anatomical stretch backhand. This combination provides a responsive, game-ready feel as soon as you put your hands in!
Going hand in hand with the comfort aspect of the Warrior Alpha DX Gloves is the Pro Palm+! This pro-tested palm provides a great balance of feel and control. The Pro Palm+ is also highly durable as well, protecting against the wear and tear from the tape on your hockey stick.
Moving to the interior, the Warrior Alpha DX Gloves utilize Warrior’s WarTech FNC Liner! This strike yellow liner is constructed of a Polygiene material and helps keep your hands dry and clean as well as odor-free!
